Old Terre de Fer tureen in Gien earthenware monogram MS.

The stamp “Terre de Fer Gien” is engraved but practically illegible. It can be found on two other dishes with the same monogram that I offer in the online store, which allows us to be categorical about its origin.

The tureen is in very good condition.

There are no chips or cracks.

There are a few discreet chips placed on the inside edge of the soup tureen lid, see photo.

Height: approximately 19 cm.

Diameter: approximately 24 cm.

Colors: ivory & blue.

Used item.

This soup tureen has been around for over 100 years and is by no means in new condition. It must therefore be taken into account that despite a rigorous selection and description in order to present a quality set, it may contain minimal defects caused by the passage of time in addition to those indicated in the description. To have impeccable condition, I invite you to turn to new or more modern tableware.
