Medicine: ancient pulmonary respirator (cerebrator) Respirator Plent
Ancient medical device called pulmonary cerebrator according to the inscription on the glass jar.
This is an old pre-1968 lung respirator with its original rubber hose and ceramic spout.
Unless I'm mistaken, the oxygen entered the jar through the metal spout.
The respirator is in very good condition but is of course not intended to be used again as is.
It is above all a collector's item on the theme of medical sciences.
This item is very uncommon.
It is possible that it is a British or American model since the screen-printed Respirator Plent inscription is in the language of Shakespeare.
Engraved in relief on the glass, “Respirator Plent” is translated into French as “pulmonary cerebrator”, which does not seem to correspond to much in our language. Approximate translation? Or translation of the time?
The SGDG Patented mention allows us to place this device before 1968.
Height: approximately 33 cm.
Used item intended for collection and not for use.
