Former advertising ashtray Palais de la Nouveauté Grands Magasins Dufayel.

Opened in 1856 under the name Palais de la Nouveauté and located at 26 rue de Clignancourt in Paris, Grands Magasins Dufayel was the largest furniture store in the world. They were taken over by Georges Dufayel in 1888 upon the death of their creator Jacques François Crespin. Specializing in household furnishings, they employed up to 15,000 people before closing in 1930.

The ashtray is in very good condition.

There are no chips or cracks.

This ashtray has a lifespan of over 135 years and is by no means in new condition.
