Old double sandwich maker L'Etoile brand

With the arrival of domestic gas in kitchens, these sandwich makers became real fashion phenomena in the 1960s. They were found in drugstores and even in department stores.

This was marketed by the L'Etoile brand. It allows you to cook 2 sandwiches at a time.

The device is in good condition.

The interior is in good condition but there are some traces of use on the black hearths .

There are some black hearth signs of use on the exterior of the unit.

The wooden handle is in excellent condition but the red paint is peeling.

It is made of cast aluminum and cannot be used on an induction hob. It will only be used on gas (or on a wood fire, paying attention to the wooden handle).

The device is usable and it will allow you to make delicious croque-monsieur.
