Stenotyping is a method of taking notes that allows you to fully capture a speech in real time. Often confused with stenography which is a manual method, it is carried out using a specific machine called a stenotype created by Marc Grandjean.
This Grandjean brand stenotype from the 1950s/1960s works perfectly.
It is sold with various accessories that you can see in the last photo. These are essentially ink ribbons. The support with the roller is certainly not part of the machine.
This stenotype is in very good condition.
