Old post-mortem photo card of a child

At the beginning of the 20th century, it was common to take a photograph of our dead in order to pay them a last tribute. This phenomenon comes directly from the English Victorian era which featured deceased people, particularly children because infant mortality was significant. We find traces of this same phenomenon in 19th century North America.
