Authentic vintage metal hutch / bread box from before 1968.
The rubbers at the back are marked “patented SGDG”.
The mention SGDG (Without Government Guarantee) disappeared in 1968.
This authentic bread bin comes to us from the 1950s/1960s.
It has all the charm of those years.
At almost 60 years old, it is in very good condition.
Very difficult to find in this state of freshness.
The interior is very clean.
There is a scratch under the hutch as well as a small paint chip under the handle.
The adhesive seal used to cushion the closing of the hutch must be changed or removed, but nothing very hard.
