Vintage chandelier / suspension in rhodoid and nylon thread.

Rhodoid is a material created around 1917 by the Usines du Rhône and the Société Lyonnaise de celluloid. It is a plastic material based on cellulose acetate.

It is light, weighing around 310 grams.

The suspension is in good condition but it has some small defects due to time spent, such as a few brief and very barely visible scratches.

The top of the pendant light is slightly discolored.

Model uses a large base screw-in bulb not supplied with the pendant.
