Old small metal bird cage

Gone are the days when bird markets flourished in the four corners of France. It was commonplace to have a pair of birds in French or Belgian homes until the 1980s.

This old small metal cage from the 1970s/1980s will fit perfectly into a retro decoration.

The bottom of the removable cage is rusty but it is not pierced.

There is a sliding opening on the front of the cage.

There is a small metal handle.

There are two perches and a swing.

The whole is in good condition.

The metal parts are oxidized by rust, which gives a magnificent old character to this little cage.

I cleaned it superficially so as not to remove the traces of time. You are free to carry out a more in-depth cleaning.
