Small vintage metal bird cage with yellow plastic roof
Gone are the days when bird markets flourished in the four corners of France. It was commonplace to have a pair of birds in French or Belgian homes until the 1980s.
This old small metal cage from the 1960s/1970s will fit perfectly into a retro decoration.
There is a small door on the front of the cage, as well as two small hatches on the sides to insert the feeders.
There is a small oxidized metal ring for hanging the cage.
The roof is made of yellow plastic and it brings great decorative potential.
The whole is in good condition.
The plastic has a few small chips on the edge but this remains discreet and does not detract from the general aesthetics of the cage.
The two small clips on the sides suggest that there was a small removable collection tray under the cage, absent today.
Height: 30.5 cm.
Total length: 34 cm.
Depth: 20.5 cm.
The whole remains coherent and of quality.
