Vintage Leopold Plastique plastic & galvanized zinc coal bucket.
Leopold & Cie is a household goods factory which was located in Bas-Rhin at the exit of Pfaffenhofen, towards Niedermodern. Installed since 1919, it ceased to operate in the mid-2000s and has given way today to a supermarket. It was the flagship of Alsatian industry for more than 80 years thanks to Mr Sylvain Léopold and Mr Paul Meltzger.
The bucket is in good condition but has many signs of handling.
This plastic and galvanized zinc model is unusual.
It will fit perfectly into a vintage decor.
